“Molloy” is a story without Narration in wich the observer is left with a hint in the opaqueness of our world. Molloy is the research of a mystery, pursuit of an obsession. Molloy is inspired by the homonym novel of Samuel Beckett. From this novel it gets the atmospheres and the
suspension of the real meaning of our days. The drama takes place in a chilled strain, doom to become memory of an event that will never happen.
Molloy consists in a shoot on a Super8 film and a series of selfportraits made using remote controls and timers in many abandoned and ruined places. The audience is invited to come in and follow this surreal world, so different from everyday life, along with the same character and his videocamera. Giorgio Musinu was born in Genoa (Italy) in 1990
His works do not refer to a recognizable form but approach a wide range of topics on multiple levels. By refusing an objective truth and global cultural narratives, the interpretation becomes personal, multifaceted, and metaphorical. Evocative moments of atmosphere with the drama that takes place in a cold tension destined to become a memory of an event that will never happen.
