The first time the eyes open on Cuba it is inevitable to dwell on those characteristics that are universally renowned: the American ’50s cars, the colours, the dance, the wild and majestic natural landscape, the cigars and the old signboards. 
Yet nothing is as surprising as finding the melody of these places, so distant in time and space, familiar.
