The "Lives" by Giorgio Vasari in their twofold presentation is a first rich repertoire of works of architecture and art in Pisa. It's therefore very appropriate to this route, which focuses, among the works mentioned by Vasari in Pisa, on those in the San Matteo Museum. Among the sculpture there are some from the oratory of Santa Maria della Spina.
