Made on the theme "Nature of the Piedmont", the exhibition 2013/2014 renews his exhibition design every two months with a different subject.
The project is a collaboration between the MRSN Regional Museum of Natural Sciences and the Regional Council of Piedmont, from the time it is present at Palazzo Lascaris Museum with exhibitions in naturalistic subject.
AURORA is a beautiful butterfly this from Europe to Asia. It belongs to the family of Pieridi and has spread over the entire Alpine range, up to 2000 meters above sea level. It lives in wet meadows, between the hedges, flower gardens, on the edge of the woods and roads. The eggs, laid isolated primarily on the smock, Cardamine pratensis, and other cruciferous weeds, are white immediately after deposition and become a bright orange within a few days. The pterins, organic compounds widespread in living organisms with different functions, are responsible for the yellow and white colors of this famiglia.Aurora, Anthocharis Cardamines, is the name of an elf of light, queen of the kingdom of the elves and the kingdom of darkness, in the Italian version of the novel "The War of the Elves" and in the other volumes of the series created by the Irish author Herbie Brennan.
