Other looks. Tiziana Pers for Animot

As part of Artissima 2014 / Program ZONARTE OFF Animot L’altra filosofia, Associazione Gallinae in Fabula, Labont Università di Torino, Rivista di Estetica, Vulcano unità di produzione contemporanea in collaboration with the Education Department Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art and Opera Barolo present the exhibition: Other looks. Tiziana Pers for Animot.
The exhibition brings together a series of works by Tiziana Pers published in the accompanying text, in the first issue of the magazine animot. The other philosophy, by Leonardo Gruner and Maurizio Ferraris. The works will be accompanied by passages from the unpublished text by Maurizio Ferraris Zoon Politikon.

The exhibition animot collects the series of works produced by the artist as an accompaniment to the texts published in the first issue of the magazine "animot" by Leonardo Gruner and Maurizio Ferraris, published in 2014.
The animality through the whole thought of the "second" Derrida: a thinker apparently very different from the concentrate to question - in light of our relationship with nonhuman - concepts such as "life," "sovereignty," "death" and "power" . But how do you connect these two phases of the philosopher and what role they had animals in his thinking?

Tiziana Pers graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature and PhD in Comparative Literature at the University of Udine. Animot is a semi-annual academic journal published by Graphe.it and directed by Leonardo Gruner and Valentina Sonzogni that deals with exploring the theme of animality in the light of Animal Studies, in dialogue with the many disciplines such as philosophy, architecture, natural sciences, history of art, political theory and literature.
