Spazi Sospesi 2 curated by Leo Lecci, Monica Saccomandi and Laura Valle presents the work of twelve artists in dialogue with the work of Cecilia Rovereto Oneto.
The protagonists of the exhibition offer a vision of the relationship between the spaces of the industrial archeology and landscape, understood as places where human activity has marked traits favoring environmental production to the natural area's identity.
Following the dismantling of many industries, these places remain as suspended spaces, deprived of their specificity and disconnected from the urban fabric in which they are located.
The works on show are all projects of reappropriation, documentation and narration of the relationship between these non-places, the community and individuals.
The exhibition opens on March 5 at 17:30 in the exhibition room of the Piedmont Region, and is organized by the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti (Turin), by the Friends of the Academy Ligustica (Genoa) and the Cultural Cecilia Ravera Oneto (Camogli) in cultural partnership with the Cultural Association Penthesilea (Torino).
Artists:
Elvira Sánchez, Valentina Bassetti, Elena Tortia, Guo Liang, Wang Peng, Zhao Li, Maria Rebecca Ballestra, Cesare Bignotti, Fabio Niccolini, Resaldo Ajazi, Mihail Ivanov and Valentinov Zlatolin Donchev.
