The exhibition engages the unique case of hybridization of Macao, the blend of east and west, and the many facets that reflect the cultural dynamic range. The urban morphology of a "backyard", with its idiomatic variants, is intended to describe the harmonious coexistence of two contrasting cultures: Portuguese and Chinese. This coexistence can be observed through its living conditions and its unique architectural characteristics, which summed up the idea of ??a cultural symbiosis and show the joint efforts of both countries to maintain a balanced and long-lasting collaboration.
