At the end of the First World War, Luigi Ceccarelli known as Gigetto and his partners opened this osteria which gained quick fame for its wine and its artichokes “alla giudia”. After three generations, Da Gigetto is still family-owned and offers home-made roman-judaic specialties with simple ingredients but with great care and respect for tradition. It is the only restaurant in Rome where it is possible to taste the famous iceland codfish.
