It was erected by Ferdinando Bonsignore between 1827 and 1831 on the model of the Roman Pantheon and, as the inscription on the gable says, in memory of the return to Turin of Victor Emmanuel I after defeating Napoleon (1814). Inside are the reliefs of the Tales of the Virgin by Gaetano Motelli, Abbondio Sangiorgio, Francesco Somaini and Francesco Stanga (1830). In the basement, the Charnel House of the Fallen of the I World War by Giovanni Ricci (1932) is located.
