The painting, on the third altar on the left, depicts, on the bottom of the canvas, Saint Ludovico Bertrando with a chalice and a serpent in reference to the poisoning of the indigenous poplulation of the Caribbean. In the upper section of the work is the dominican Vincenzo Ferrer and, finally, Giacinto with the host and the statue of the Virgin used in preaching to the Tartars.
