A short walk from the Rialto bridge, opens up campo san Bòrtolo (Bartolomeo in Venetian), the old commercial heart of the city, today a lively meeting point. Its centre is dominated by the monument to Venetian playwright Carlo Goldoni (1883) while the palaces overlooking the campo include Palazzo Moro, a nice example of XIV-century patrician house with cotto-tiled facade and ogival six-light window on the main floor.
