DESCRIZIONE:
The church, dedicated to Saint Julian (in Venetian Zulian), was traditionally founded in 829. Its current appearance is due to the reconstruction by Jacopo Sansovino and Alessandro Vittoria (1553-1555), commissioned by doctor and philosopher Tommaso Rangone from Ravenna. The simple facade leads into the single-nave interior which houses an altar piece by Veronese (1584, first altar to the right) and, in the sacrament chapel, a marble Pietà, early masterpiece by sculptor Girolamo Campagna (1579).
