DESCRIZIONE:
A building of remarkable historical-artistic value, it was built by Victor Amadeus II as a university following the Savoyard school reform of the early XVIII century. The Royal University was designed by Michelangelo Garove and completed by Antonio Bertola and Filippo Juvarra. The grandiose colonnaded courtyard is decorated by statues of sovereigns, scientists and intellectuals. The main gate, on via Verdi, is by Giuseppe Maria Talucchi (1834).
