Restoration with a panoramic view for the Trevi Fountain

Rome - There are just few days left before June 5th, when the restoration works of the Trevi Fountain will begin.
The project, which was presented last January, is entirely funded by the fashion company Fendi. On this occasion, the italian maison has also granted funds to renovate the complex of the Four Fountains.
The restoration will last about 18 months, and should be completed by the fall of 2015. Despite the work in progress, people could visit this important monument. The project included the construction of a special trail, displaying old photographs and videos, transparent panels and a bridge passing over the fountain.
Finally, the construction site will be visible through special guided tours at night: this way the 18th-century monument will be available at all times.
