Sergio Leone, the visionary and innovative filmmaker, adored by the public at the time and still much beloved worldwide today.
This exhibition intends to re-evoke his brilliant career as an inventor of European Far West epics, his adventurous life as the scion of an artistic family and his extraordinary cultural legacy. Pictures, documents, costumes, guns, fragments, testimonials, archive curios, unreleased work and photographs, held and restored by the Bologna Film Archive.
Edited by Sir Christopher Frayling (Leone’s top biographer) in collaboration with Lorenzo Codelli.
