On 2th July starts the seventh edition of Meteorite in the Garden, an exhibition of contemporary visual art and music, which this year is enriched by new contributions and collaborations. The series of events includes, in fact, five events that take place in July in the outer space of the Fondazione Merz and two in September part of a program OUT respectively Rice, Museum of Contemporary Art of Sicily in Palermo and New Space and Casso Contemporary territories of the Dolomites.
Each appointment is made at the Fondazione Merz, as has become customary, as a work of visual art and a concert of contemporary classical music.
Visual artists are invited: Botto & Bruno, Hjelvik Cecilie Andersen, Alexander Piangiamore, Michael Fliri, Andrea Caretto and Raffaella Spagna.
The works submitted from time to time during the evenings, compose a unique exhibition that will be open until 21 September 2014.
The music will be attended by some excellent classical music - MauriceBourgue, oboe; James Agazzini, violin; Alessandra Ammara, piano; Diego Chenna, bassoon;
Umberto Clerici, cello; Andrea Lanza, electric guitar / live electronics; Claudio Lugo, saxes / sound objects; Giampaolo Pretto, flute - in dialogue with other musicians such as Luca Morino extraction of the Mau-Mau, DJ Vague Stelle and Andrew Ceccon.
A rich panorama of planning, testing and listening for unusual combinations in search of unusual emotions unique opportunity due to the extraordinary and successful coexistence in the same program of great artists on the international scene engaged in a project designed exclusively for the spaces of the Foundation.
