The exhibition, based on the images of the environment of the alpine lakes of the Gran Paradiso National Park, is a contribution to the dissemination of knowledge on mountain ecosystems.
The main objective of the exhibition is to raise awareness of the various research projects underway in the protected area lakes and through the representation of the beauty of life and housing, to raise public awareness on the need to protect and preserve these assets unique in our country.
In the statement of Exilles have been added two new sections: one for pictures of some lakes in the Susa Valley and a second dedicated to the work carried out within the European Project LIFE + BIOAQUAE from the Gran Paradiso National Park.
The exhibition is curated by Nicola Destefano, Andrea De Zan and Antonello Provenzale with the support of: Gran Paradiso National Park, Department of Earth System Science and Technology for the Environment and the Institute of Atmospheric Sciences and Climate of the National Research Council, in scope of the Project of Interest NextData. The set-up is by the Regional Museum of Natural Sciences of Turin.
