The fifth edition of CORPO - Festival of the Performing Arts, edited by Ivan D'Alberto and Sibilla Panerai, kicks off in conjunction with the opening of the Venice Biennale on 7, 8 and 9 May 2015 at the historic Venetian palace Nani Mocenigo , home to VITRARIA Glass + A Museum and continues to Pescara on 23 and 24 May.
In the days of the Biennale CORPO it presents the performance of E123 and Francesca Lolli, in which the body of the performer is offered to the public as a dish on which see, smell and taste a variety of chemical dyes used in the food, allowed in some countries world and banned in others.
It will also introduce the publication CORPO stranger / foreigner - History of performing arts in Abruzzo, written by Ivan D'Alberto and Sibilla Panerai, an analytical reconstruction of Performance Art from 1913 to the present day, passing by Great Evening Futurist Filippo Tommaso Marinetti the Third Paradise by Michelangelo Pistoletto in L'Aquila, the operation of Nature Protection of Joseph Beuys to the tableau vivant of Vanessa Beecroft to Use Out of 1995 Pescara.
The theme for 2015 is CibAzioni CORPO - deprivation, in line with the concept of EXPO Milano Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life, for which the Festival was also sponsored, to investigate the relationship with food through the performance language . It offers the public an overview of the aesthetic plots linked to the ritual of eating, through a layered and multi-sensorial perspective that reveals any idiosyncrasies.
