DESCRIZIONE:
Built between 1734 and 1764, it was part of the Pazzerelli Hospital, established by the Congregation of the Holy Shroud in 1728.
The single-nave church has a barrel vaulted ceiling frescoed by Michele Antonio Milocco and Pietro Alzeri. A full-sized copy of the Shroud is located underneath the high altar, which contains an altar piece portraying The Virgin, the blessed Amadeus of Savoy, the Shroud and the Everlasting glorified, by Milocco. In the crypt there is the Museum of the Shroud.
