On Monday, February 10 at 6.30pm , at the New Gallery of the Romanian Institute of Culture and Humanistic Research in Venice will take place the opening of the exhibition " Taking off " by Laura Partin , fellow " Nicolae Iorga " Romanian Institute of Venice .
"The art project titled Taking Off laura Partin uses tools of social psychology to deal with the distress caused by the consciousness of finitude which fundamental horizon of human existence. Existentialist Without implying a true reflection , the elements that make up its installation realize archeology subjective cultural memory associated with the burial grounds , which is in contrast with some ghosts that can enhance the collective anxiety of mortality. Among them, the flight occupies a privileged place . constructing a space for reflection and , at the same time , a participatory environment , Taking off invites the public to test the extent to which social experiments can influence the collective psyche when these are translated into artistic fiction , "says Cristian Nae , curator of the project.
Laura Partin ( b. 1986 , Ia?i , Romania) is conclusive of the School of Visual Arts , Decorative Arts and Design at the University of " George Enescu " Ia?i - graphics section 2010 and a master's degree in interdisciplinary research on the theory of art within the same University in 2012 . He is currently Scholar " Nicolae Iorga " Romanian Institute of Culture and Humanistic Research in Venice, with a research project entitled " The aesthetics of disillusionment " - an extension of research begun during the master - and a practical project that has the same title of the exhibition .
