An open air museum, almost unique in its kind in Italy, enclosed between Borgo Vecchio and Campidoglio, late-XIX century working-class districts, with a well-preserved grid of parallels and meridians. Thanks to the support of the municipality of Turin and of private partners, since 1995 between via Fabrizi and Cibrario and corso Svizzera, corso Tassoni and corso Appio Claudio you can see as many as 73 open-air works decorating the plasters of buildings, while the shopping centre Galleria Campidoglio is home to 36 more installations.
The various wall paintings made from 2002 to 2010 include works by Salvatore Astore, Enrico De Paris, Theo Gallino, Vittorio Valente, Andrea, Bruno Sacchetto, Gianluca Nibbi, Pasquale Filannino, Fathi Hassan, Antonio Carena, Amar, Monica Carocci and Gianni Gianasso.
The benches of the piazza Moncenisio gardens were painted during 2010 by Turin artist Vito Navolio who paid homage to ten great masters of contemporary art – Andy Warhol, Piet Mondrian, Hans Hartung, Jackson Pollock, Joan Mirò, Niki De Saint Phalle, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, Pablo Picasso, Fortunato Depero.
