To appreciate the authentic venetian spirit you need to get into the picturesque universe of the mask and into one of the most famous carnivals in the world. The Atelier Marega sells the typical venetian masks and rents magnificent period costumes of every size. The masks are handmade in “paper-machè”, according to the venetian tradition dating back to the 1300s.
