Milan - The famous "Portrait of a Lady" by Piero del Pollaiolo returns home at the Museo Poldi Pozzoli on July 25th, 2014, after a long tour around Japan.
Three other female portraits made ??by the same artist and by his brother Antonio del Pollaiolo will welcome her in Milan, as the house-museum will host a major exhibition until February 16th, 2015.
The three panels come from the Gemäldegalerie in Berlin, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Galleria degli Uffizi in Florence, and will reach the institution together with other paintings, sculptures, drawings and decorative arts to present the talent of the two artists and their workshop, as part of the events that anticipate Expo 2015.
