DESCRIZIONE:
The painting is the only work remaining in Venice of those produced by Antonello during his stay in the city. It has been damaged by historical restoration work, yet still permits us to appreciate the extremely high quality of Antonello’s painting, with his ability to merge Italian tradition with the attention to detail seen in Flemish painting.
