Portrait of Francesco Querini
The portrait, which follows a tradition typical of the Venetian sixteenth century, was commissioned from Jacopo Palma the Elder together with that of Paola Priuli, exhibited in the same room, on the occasion of the marriage of these two nobles on 23 April 1528. However the two works were never finished as the artist died on 30 July of the same year.
