Giardini Napoleonici (Giardini della Biennale)
The work, projected in 1975 for the Comunità Esistenziale di Arcevia (Ancona), was carried out in 1984 for the Biennale of Venice, is a large iron structure formed by five elliptical arches. It depicts an important theme for Burri, the theatre, which for him represented total art, becoming the great motif for a cycle of works over the last ten years calling for a series of paintings flanked by an immense sculpture.
