DESCRIZIONE:
The work celebrates the founder of the Order of the Filippini and is one of the most significant of the artist's later works, the maturity of the artist underscored by the expression of the Saint at prayer. Tradition holds that the artist, who died impoverished, was buried here in the tomb of his friend Giambattista Albrizzi between the second and third altar of the nave on the right.
