Andai nei Boschi

Alviani ArtSpace has been selected for The Others the international trade fair dedicated to emerging contemporary art, held in Turin 6 to 9 November 2014, at the Ex Carcere Le Nuove.
The Others develops the theme of this year The Wild Side and Alviani ArtSpace offers Andai nei Boschi, a project by Lucia Zappacosta (1980) is inspired by the text of Henry David Thoreau, "Walden, vita nei boschi".
Inside the cell A8 will present the work of two groups of artists: Walden composed by Bruno Cerasi (1983), Yolanda Di Bonaventura (1993) and Gloria Sulli  (1982), and memory box, the work of minus.log - Giustino Di Gregorio (1962) and Manuela Cappucci (1971) - created in 2013 with Claudio Pilotti (1965).
In the OtherScreen videos of Antonio Di Biase (1994) and Jukuki (1976) and section OtherSound the interactive performance diCatodo (1974). Finally, in section OtherStage Friday, 7 to 19:30 will be presented Yantras, an unprecedented choral performance project with Tiziana Contino (1979), Giovanni Gaggia, Mona Lisa Tina and directed by Gianluca Panareo which is supported by a group of four galleries, Alviani Art Space, Martina Corbetta, mc2 gallery and Rossmut.
Set 160 years after the first edition of "Walden, vita nei boschi" is still fully present to reflect on the relationship between man and nature, in search of the true essence of life.
Inspired by the experiment of Thoreau and his radical thought justified "civil disobedience", all the work presented in Andai nei Boschi have in common the desire to contextualize and deconstruct the idea that everyone has of himself and that often enters into crisis (from the greek word κρ?σις κρ?νω = separate, more broadly, to discern, judge, evaluate) when you compare it with what others have of us.
From the observation of nature and its energy (Fleurs - Iolanda Di Bonaventura) comes a deeper awareness of who we are and what our purpose. The Nature amplifies feelings and emotions and his contact allows us to see clearly, to new and unexplored points of view (Human Needs - Bruno Cerasi), attempts to evolution (Gloria Sulli) settled in the folds of memory (memory box - minus Claudio Pilotti + .log).
The decomposition and the careful analysis of our core produces a wild instinct as opposed to the more spiritual. The Razor's Edge, the blade of the knife (Random Cuts - Catodo), falsification (Apostolic Entrance - Antonio Di Biase) and the dematerialization of the subject and reality (Retweet - Jukuki) are transformed into a necessary precondition for an improvement to a rebirth, a revival based on the meeting with the other (Yantras - Tiziana Contino, Giovanni Gaggia, Mona Lisa Tina, Gianluca Panareo).
I went to the woods evokes exceeded, interior and collectively, to offer an immersion in the woods of memory, exploring the wild side of each.
