Photocontainer 2015 Art Fair & Festival

PHOTOCONTAINER will be held from November 19th to December 20th in the evocative MRF space. Former heartbeat of Turin car economy, since 2005 it has been the key player in a redevelopment project that will lead to an evolution of the Mirafiori district, in order to establish itself as a new cultural center in a city that is increasingly emerging in the international contemporary art scene.
TNE (Torino Nuova Economia), a public company consisting of the City of Turin, the Metropolitan City of Turin, the Piedmont Region and FCA (FIAT Chrysler Automobiles), has found in Photissima an ideal partner to give new impulse to its mission of redevelopment and reuse of abandoned areas of FIAT SpA. This new edition presents itself in a totally updated guise: each exhibitor will set up his/her artworks in acontainer, in order to preserve the original spirit of the place.
The event, organized as a photography fair and festival, will involve Italian and international gallerists and photographers that will reveal the new horizons of what is now to be considered art in all respects.
