It is named after Rondo (small court theater) in connection with Palazzo Madama and was built in the second half of the '600.
In 1820, on the occasion of the marriage of Maria Theresa of Savoy with the Duke of Lucca it was transformed into a ballroom, and later, at the request of Charles Albert, Pelagius Palagi designs the decoration providing the design for the windows, the upper balcony and the ceiling, and part of the exhibition Armory.
