It is the smallest district of the city and its name comes from a vernacular expression meaning "small Turin". Situated on the east of the city centre, it developed from the end of the XVIII century and is bordered by the arterial roads of corso Inghilterra, corso Francia, corso Vittorio Emanuele II and corso Francesco Ferrucci. Today it is a residential area with beautiful buildings in Art Nouveau and Neo-Gothic style.
