FLASHBACK, the exhibition dedicated to ancient and modern art, is back in Turin from 6 to 9 November 2014 amplifying its power of suggestion and by choosing a new venue: the Pala Alpitour | Isozaki.

New venue, new layout and a series of unusual choices in the name of the imperative: All Art is Contemporary.

The new venue is designed by the architect Arata Isozaki, the maximum exponent of the Japanese Avant-Guarde, and shows itself as a strict Cartesian rectangle made of stainless steel, cement and glass. In a range of gray shades, the structure stands as the perfect venue to host a project which proceeds by subtraction reinterpreting ancient art through the lens of contemporaneity. Thanks to graphics and exhibition design FLASHBACK rises as a new paradigm within art fairs, a prototype created with the purpose of updating and of projecting into future historical art.

FLASHBACK 2014 proves itself a fair of excellence and, this year as well, sees the participation of thirty of the most important and interesting galleries, national and international, of ancient and modern art, selected on the basis of the importance of their artworks and the set-up projects, they represent change, transformation and originality.
Through FLASHBACKS, the concept of classical loses the connotation of "past."

FLASHBACK’s visit is a trip through time which, alternating between periods and styles, gives the audience a fascinating overview of the artistic and creative skills of man from the beginnings to modern times. Painting, sculpture and decorative arts combine to create a magical atlas art in a timeless cultural challenge.
It is no longer the period of execution of the work which act as discriminating factor, but the uniqueness and quality of the work itself.

FLASHBACK is the suggestion of a "no time" in which Art is the main actor.
