Poetry is absent from television, newspapers, often from the shelves of bookstores. Nevertheless enjoys great vitality on the network and the young as the older generations read and write verses. There seems therefore important that, at least on the occasion of the world day of poetry, we can give importance and value to this form of expression. We want to show that poetry is alive, arouses interest, has many faces, moves through different and new media, not only in the pages of books.
Invent creative and original forms of communication with the public, that go beyond the traditional presentation in the library, with author and critic sitting behind a table.

On 21 March 2015, the fifteenth day of poetry, the Union culture has no intention to propose to the city of Turin a tired celebration. Wants instead become a laboratory for an experiment: to entrust the world to the voice and the body of the poets. An exercise in fantasy social liberation poetry of a strip of town to try to change the characteristics of that in Italy it is customary to consider poetry. To reactivate the utopian dimension and politics, which has been present throughout the twentieth century, when the great currents of avant-garde and emancipation are often born on the initiative of poets.
Today we are certainly more disenchanted than those high-sounding programs radical innovation of art and life. But it seems that utopia, even poetic, may still arise in the most seemingly peripheral, residual minor. As the foundation and basement of Palazzo Carignano, the bunker where there will be moments of poetic liberation. For this reason the Union cultural asked one of the most intelligent interpreters of this conception of poetry, Andrea English, in collaboration with Francesco Forlani and the collective Sparajuri, to conceive and design an original initiative and articulate.
