Paul Gubinelli dedicates an exhibition to Turin Giulio Carlo Argan and Maria Luisa Spaziani, who has known and frequented assiduously over the years, receiving various unpublished manuscripts that now accompany his art.
Next to the fifty abstract works on paper, watercolors and etchings, including some unpublished poems of tableaux with Spaziani, are exposed monographs and essays on the life and work of the two Masters, offered by public libraries in Turin.
.
Gubinelli Paul, born in Matelica (MC) in 1945, lives and works in Florence. He graduated from the Art Institute of Macerata, Painting Section, to continue his studies and work as a graphic designer and planner in architecture in Milan, Rome and Florence. Very young, he discovers the importance of the spatial concept of Lucio Fontana, resulting in a constant orientation in his research. Knows and consolidates a commonality of purpose, ideas and collaborations with various artists and architects including Bruno Munari, Alberto Burri, Sol Lewitt, Zoren.
His works are on permanent display in many Italian and foreign museums.
In 2011 he was a guest at the 54th Venice Biennale Pavilion Italy, at the invitation of the curator Vittorio Sgarbi.
