The vision of Paratissima is to support creativity in all its forms by making available a qualifying window and a full program of workshops, workshops, meetings, contests and special projects to trigger the active participation of the artists and the public to the event.
Theme Paratissima X: Not wrong, but creative
"X" as the number of issues Paratissima and as a symbol of the failure. With "Not wrong, but creative" you acknowledge error, often seen as a negative part of a process, and its indispensability event. To err is to commit a mistake, but the mistake is the very essence of evolution, of progress and improvement.
The theme of the exhibition curated by the artistic direction of Paratissima, Camphor and Francesca Daniele Ratti: The Dark Side of Beauty.
On display are works by Alighiero Boetti, Enzo Cucchi, Nicola Bolla, Rainer Fetting, Nan Goldin, Francesco Sena and Paul Grassino.
Among the arcane creatures, disturbing dark ladies, skulls glam allure and apocalyptic landscapes, unfolds a complex procedure that creeps irony and lyricism alongside works gloomy hues and decadent. The dark side of beauty emerges in a series of performances by artists, national and international, that have addressed this issue with your own research.
