Thursday, June 12th at 6 pm at the Biblioteca Reale of Turin will be exceptionally exposed to the public The Legendary Sforza-Savoy, one of the most precious illuminated manuscripts of the Italian Renaissance. Usually kept in the armored vault of the Royal Library, the manuscript can be seen in the original, at the conclusion of the restoration and publication of facsimile created by Franco Cosimo Panini Editore in cooperation with Treccani.
It will also place the opening of the exhibition The Legendary Sforza-Savoy edited by Franco Cosimo Panini Editore and open until June 21.
The exhibition will allow visitors to explore the history and secrets of the code, but mainly to observe the thumbnails,
thanks to a distance of over seventy pages of facsimile reproductions, as well as through an interactive station for navigation and exploration of digital code, with multi-touch screen with higher resolution.
Speakers include:
Mario Turetta, Regional Director for Cultural Heritage and Landscape of Piedmont
John Saccani, Director of the Royal Library of Turin
Pier Luigi Mulas, Art Historian, University of Pavia
