Zaino in spalla is back, the solo show that with the metaphor of the journey tells the most interesting Italian independent exhibition. For this second edition Sponge ArteContemporanea in Pergola (PU) meets Alviani ArtSpace in Pescara, on a trip along the Adriatic and through the Po Valley up to the Atelier Giorgi of Turin.
As in the first edition, he had seen with Sponge ArteContemporanea and RAVE East Village Artist Residency, the purpose of the show is told through the works of the artists invited to the philosophy of the two structures and establish a non-profit collaboration. If last year's Backpacker included a large number of works and many artists represented, this year's selection is reduced to five artists and a more structured program, with two performance events.
The exhibition opening, Thursday, November 6th at 6.30pm, will be the performance of Tiziana Contino "Relation of Causality", edited and designed specifically for this occasion at Atelier Giorgi. Performance will track the exhibition, to maintain continuity throughout the duration of the exhibition.
Saturday 8 at 7pm will be the turn of Lego, one-act play written by Margarita Egorova directed by Gianluca Panareo, which will be repeated in Turin after engaging in Pesaro before 25 October. Panareo will also be on display with some impressive shots, made in Turin during the summer.
The exhibition will be an installation of Bruno Cerasi in the space of the Atelier taken from the series Human needs, which the young artist Abruzzo has been working for several months. There will be a sculpture by Giacomo Rizzo, who is here reproduced a few weeks after his artist residency at Sponge ArteContemporanea, and the work of Rocco Dubbini that closed Ecumenism, its solo show on May at Sponge.
