AplusA Slovenian Exhibition Centre and XAC Experimental Center for the Arts and Communication presents: Place to Place, at the Palazzo Malipiero, open from February 17 to February 22. The group exhibition curated the 20th course in Curatorial Practice and Contemporary Arts is in collaboration with Officina delle Rafts and with the support of the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation.
In this twentieth edition was attended by twenty-two young curators from all over Italy who have worked closely with artists and the art world to give life to a group show that will exhibit the works of seven Italian and international artists from Turin, Milan , Venice, Rome , Spain, Albania and Lithuania: the collective Guerrilla SPAM, Dritan Hyska, Ryts Monet, Morgantin , Alice Pedroletti, Agne Raceviciute and Pablo Valbuena.
The exhibition will be an opportunity to preview two video works have never been exhibited in Venice: The Magic Piper of Ishinomaki Ryts of Monet - realized with the support of the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture, Tokyo Wonder Site - which tackles the delicate issue the city of Ishinomaki, which was hit by the tsunami in 2011 and subjected to radiation in Fukushima and Genovaite Raceviciene in Juodkrante Neringa Lithuania's Agne Raceviciute who, through their work, family rediscovers the roots and investigates the habitat and environmental multisfaccettatura that characterizes the his country of origin.
