DESCRIZIONE:
A church consecrated to San Dalmazzo existed here since the XII century, even if the current building is the fruit of two subsequent renovations, in 1702 of the facade, while the transformation of the interiors in neo-Gothic style dates back to 1885. Next to the church is the former convent and boarding school of the Barnabites, who arrived in Turin in 1606 at the request of Charles Emmanuel I. Painter Enrico Reffo and his school were appointed to decorate the entire central nave, painted by encaustic painting on gold ground and portraying a series of Saints, penitents, virgins and martyrs (1895-1916). Inside are also XVIII-century paintings and an old baptismal font.
