Portrait of Hanka Zborowska
National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art
The work is an example of the ample production of portraits by the famous painter. The subject is the wife of the poet Leopold Zborowski, patron of Modigliani, here in the last phase of his career. The painting was exhibited at the Biennale of Venice in 1930. The Gallery has another painting by Modigliani: the Nudo Sdraiato.
