This initiative aims to produce culture in a dimension that integrates all the possible forms of expression in a world that seems to leave less and less room for the aesthetic and humanistic values ??. So much effort and willpower that allows us to exhibit in a stunning location to spread art forms, such as tools for growth and social cohesion as a genuine ethical convictions.
Concordia is the title of the exhibition of contemporary art that will be inaugurated on May 29 at 16 Palazzo Birago, organized by the Art Association Settimo "Armònia" and Group of Painters Scalo Caselle Torinese in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Turin .
With the title "Concordia" we wanted to resume the meaning of unity, peace. It evokes the name of a Roman god of peace and concord. The term recalls recently, the cruise ship Costa Concordia, the wrecked island of Giglio and recovered. In a work of art, concord also takes on the end of a message and a reflection expressed with its different styles to a dialogue with a rich repertoire of painting, collage, sculpture and photography by established artists on the local scene.
Palazzo Birago is one of the first architectural firms in Turin by Filippo Juvarra. Begun in 1716, the building has a courtyard of high scenic value , with curved bottoms , a signature Juvarrian to a private building. At the exhibition lies along the main staircase, the works are exhibited in a succession of rooms with precious furniture and upholstery.
