In Turin will be inaugurated the first edition of design week eastern and "to east" that is already present as Fuorisalone Sarpi Bridge during Milan Design Week.
"Make a moving bridge in the cities" was in fact the read-key of the edition of April 2014 which consolidated the bridge between East and West, and now intends to create a new one between Milan and Turin in the field of design.
In exhibition there will be projects of design and creativity in which converge Eastern and Western realities all united by the goal of creating cultural and economic opportunities.
The event will be hosted this time by an Art Nouveau building, surrounded by the green of the Parco Valentino, a symbol of the city of Turin and a short walk from the Castle. The Società Promotrice delle Belle Arti (Company Promoter of Fine Arts), founded in 1842 , before the formation of the Italian State. It boasts exhibitions formed by great artists and prominent members such as De Chirico, Alvar Aalto, Le Corbusier, and many others. By this exhibition it will represent the fundamental elements of creativity understood as a universal language.
In this edition, including China, Korea and India, in "middle of the bridge" will be back Iran and this time with its design graphic unique told by great Reza Abedini.
Young designers will be present in all exhibition projects and in particular in project DESIGNato that will showcase those who are "designati", elected, born under the sign of design and will be accompanied by famous designers as Sakura Adachi, John Bennet, Brian Sironi.
There will be many special guests. Workshops, installations and performances will complement the big event which will also be the occasion to present the project that will propose Oriental Design Week for Expo2015 in Milan and to which designers and artists will be invited to participate. Soon on the website of the event will be published the daily program.
