Wildflowers Start Up 2014

The project Wildflowers is an innovative concept where the artistic aspect of the exhibition and the history are intertwined.
Part of a program of enhancement and development of the area, specifically the District 8 in Turin, through art and culture, was born in 2013 from an idea that has its foundations in the concept of reaction:
The wild flowers are dangerously authentic, they appear weak and humble as they are, in fact, strong and vital. They do not want to be beautiful, they want to exist. In our gardens, the wild flowers are born and grow in adverse environmental conditions. Are fought, extirpated, at best confined space debris.
This event seeks to make visible a vital necessity; urgency of artistic expression that often puts so interstitial unexpected, inconsistent with the official routes.
In this first phase, preparing the second edition that "bloom" in 2015, has Wildflowers on 23 and 24 September a workshop Illustration by Gabriela Jolowicz, Giorgi at Atelier
(via Belfiore 5h). The event will take place from 10.00 to 17.30, will include a number of 18 people, the cost of entry, compared to a pure reimbursement of materials, will be € 25.

Letting loose. illustration workshop
Through design activities fun, fast, and non-conventional Each student will be conducted outside of his creative comfort zone. The aim is to introduce new ways of creating images and then expand the repertoire of skills of students in the design. The discussion of controversial images such as photo books, newspaper clippings, comic books or catalogs of artists will serve as a starting point for each new exercise.
Registration will close September 19, 2014.
To sign up will be enough to send an email request to: workshop@wildflowers.to.it with an attached CV and a short portfolio work (for a total of up to 4 MB).
By September 21 will be sent an email confirmation
with the details.
The return of this training course will take place on September 27 at 18.30.
On this occasion in three exhibition spaces - Atelier Giorgi, Silvia Reichenbach Bhuman Shah Art & Meditation Centre, Space Mouv '- will be set up three exhibitions: one of Viviane Christian Bertrand at Atelier Giorgi, the second of Gabriela Jolowicz at Silvia Reichenbach Bhuman Shah Art & Meditation Centre, and the exhibition of the students of the Workshop at Space Mouv '. The inauguration will also be the occasion to present to the public the new edition of Wildflowers, which will start in autumn 2015.

Jolowicz Gabriela was born in 1978 in Salgitter, Germany. Graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig, will complete his studies in 2010 In 2012 he won first prize in the field of contemporary woodcut from the foundation to the art culture and education of the Kreissparkasse Ludwigsburg.
Lives and works in Berlin.

Viviane Christian Bertrand presents a preview of the project ... Et lux et tenebrae ... john 1.5, with an exhibition of about 15 works with a metal point on paper titled DformatA4. Accompany the opening of the exhibition a musical performance artist inspired by the poetry of Gaston Miron.
