Twenty years after the death of Federico Fellini and fifty since his masterpiece 8 ½ , the Candiani Cultural Center dedicated to the great master a series of initiatives from exposure to 8 ½ . The journey of Fellini. Photographs by Gideon Bachmann , edited by Cinemazero and in collaboration with the Cinemazero Stock Photo Images of Pordenone.
The selection - among the approximately 3,000 photographs that Gideon Bachmann has taken on the set - offers an unconventional path that traces the genesis of a film became an instant classic and invites you to take a trip that opens to wonderful prospects and lesser known , who complete knowledge as a masterpiece 8 ½ . The look of expert Bachmann - in addition to the bodies and luoghiche have come to us as " Fellini " par excellence - has been able to clearly describe the atmosphere and from the caravanserai that has animated the set, the comings and goings of visits, the super activism director demiurge , giving us an unusual portrait of one of the most important masters of cinema.
On the set of 8 ½ there were three photographers, Ronald Paul ( the official photographer ) , Tazio Secchiarioli ( friend and mascot of Fellini ) and Gideon Bachmann ( who collected material for a book ) . Only pictures of the latter were virtually unheard of until about ten years ago , rediscovered and enhanced by valuable archive Cinemazero Images .
In addition to images of Fellini, one of the 100 photos in the exhibition, numerous portraits of Marcello Mastroianni, Claudia Cardinale , Sandra Milo , Anouk Aimée , some shots of Sophia Loren on the set visit and of course the most famous scenes of the film.
Inside the exhibition hall, a space will be devoted to Fellini , a tribute to the great master with the screening of films and interviews, in-depth meetings and on 13 December at 18.00, an unmissable exhibition of Emanuela Battigelli (harp) and Claudio Ferrarini (flute) in Amarcord ... Rota.
