The book opens with an interview with Mimmo Jodice and a special way of perceiving the author Chico 's hometown, Naples. Continues with a section called the first great landscapes, which includes among the many texts devoted to the great photographers such as Gabriele Basilico Italian Elio Ciol, Giovanni Chiaramonte, Vittorio Storaro, but also reflections on landscape photography that touch some places through their greatest performers: so 'and' Paris by Robert Doisneau, the streets of jazz by Pino Ninfa, Rome-Pompeii by Gianni Berengo Gardin and Aurelio Amendola, or Walter Niedermayr, Between presence and absence.
