In Glass We Trust is a warning, a meeting of rarity, exceptional exponents of a cultural movement, spontaneous, a collective result of free association and momentum instinctive. And 'the profound originality Venetian which opens and shows itself without filters, without patina, without roof or institutions: seven of the best artists and virtuosos of glass get together, gather, and show imperative forms that populate their imagination and characterize their creations.
In Glass We Trust is not only an exhibition, and takes place in a common gallery. In Glass We Trust is a manifesto, a statement of purity of intent, a mantra for those in Venice and in the furnace is raised, for those who have the ambition to protect her, to tell it, for who gets his hands dirty, and with the same hands he gives shape to beauty of extreme rarity.
Igor Balbi, Lucio Bubacco, Alessandro Casson, Vittorio Costantini, Simone Crestani, Andrea Morucchio, Davide Salvadore are the names that populate this place, made of bright minds and skilled hands.
For all of them the meeting with the glass occurred at a very early age, to become later choice and practice of life. Masters and disciples, tradition and innovation, artistic expression and human, combined to perform a genuine event on the glass, to show its life, its richness and infinite potential in spite of the commercial dynamics that make the law in the city.
Seven artists, stories, techniques, styles and different aesthetic, gathered to represent the delicate truth and variety of glass: from conceptual compositions, symbolic, spiritual and abstract Andrea Morucchio small universes erotic, delicate and subtle and seductive works of the Baroque Lucio Bubacco, through the elegance and refinement of Simone Crestani, making transparency and 'no color' his personal style and unique.
The imaginary ethnic, warm and sometimes tribal creations by Davide Salvadore mixes the perfect balance of color, light and form of Alessandro Casson, who in his sculptures evoke natural forms to abstract to a symbolic and archetypal pure stylization.
The production of Igor Balbi alternates and combines the sophistication of the technique for classic shapes, exacerbating the chromatic scale can realize up to a potential infinity of solutions; the look and the meticulous realism of Vittorio Costantini, finally, to introduce a microcosm organic and fantastic animal and quiet, the result of long observation, study and work hours.
