ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Provocation or decency? The custom of wearing the female Venetian mask, with decorations and symbols that makes it mysterious, could be interpreted in many ways. In her photography of the Carnival of Venice, Dora Bertolutti Howard often surprises femininity that not so much is hidden, as it is protected with sweet kindness behind the mask. The attention Dora Bertolutti Howard gives to the detail of the light on the costumes finds its match in the delicate constructions in papier-mâché by Sergiu Chihaia. The princess of the veil Argentina Verderame was the protagonist of a show surprised by Dora Bertolutti Howard with the experience of the woman and the photographer who understands the sense of intimacy in a woman's gestures to cover her face, as an expression of decency and shyness.

THE ARTISTS
