The gardens of the Palace of Venaria, fruit of an ambitious restoration project completed in 2007, are a magnificent example of international Baroque garden art of the XVII and XVIII century. Do not miss Fontana d’Ercole, the remains of the Temple of Diana and the garden of the Flowing Sculptures by Giuseppe Penone. Within Venaria Reale is also Parco la Mandria, a natural oasis of 3,600 ha.; trekking, cycling and hiking tours in the moors are just some of the possible activities in this huge green area, inside of which there are also numerous buildings of historical-artistic interest.
