DESCRIZIONE:
Built by Francesco Lanfranchi, it was completed near 1670.
It has a Greek cross-shaped plan with vast semi cycles next to the chapels and a dome, lit up by large rectangular windows, with frescoes by Michele Antonio Milocco (Paradise in the middle and the Virtues in the spandrels). The wooden gate and the high altar were finely carved in 1689 by stone workers from Lugano; the interior is home to a precious decoration in marbles and gilded stuccoes.
