CARLA RIGATO confronts on "RIVERS OF LIFE", in perfect connection with THE TREE OF LIFE EXPO MILANO 2015, as part of the Collective artistic cloaked Stars conceived by Giovanni Matteo Cudin, which brings together 12 artists, with sculptures depicting in the form of metaphor, the most important rivers of the planet.
"Fiume Colorado" is the title of the imposing sculpture that will be placed in the Park Vega, outdoor area of the Pavilion Acquae Venice Marghera from next Sunday, May 3, at the opening of Acquae Venice in 2015.
The installation of the sculpture is vertical, airy (about 5 meters high). A structure that reflects a helical motion thanks to two concentric circles of flagpoles hoisted up towards the sky slightly inclined in the opposite direction, so as to create a wave, a slow vortex of emotions and thoughts.
The choice of materials is dictated by emotion, rather, by the emotions that this river that rises up carrying, as well as the vortex of life impels us, depending on the current, to favorable winds, mild breezes, or meeting the strongest storms.
The inner circle of sticks is more robust, soaring, reaching for the sky full of strength, the splendor of life that nevertheless it is always worth living. The outer circle consists of flagpoles thinner iron rust. On them blades inserted steel satin reflective heaven and the sky will become water in the mirror on the base of the sculpture also brushed steel.
Now it includes the name of the sculpture, "COLORADO RIVER", because it is a river upward that collects and conveys the light as well as feelings in a stream that's what is human, ground reflected and mirrored directly in the sky.
